What you need to know about the 2017 season

NEW YORK — The New York Jets will start the 2017 campaign without the services of linebacker Calvin Pace, who was placed on injured reserve on Monday.

Pace, 33, underwent surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and will undergo additional rehabilitation.

He suffered the injury in Week 5 of last season, and has missed the last four games.

The Jets released him in March after he was released by the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason.
